South Maui consists of the areas from Kihei to Makena.  There are a number of fine resorts in these areas as well as many activities and sites of interest, including sportsfishing, shopping, dining and golf.  

Not far away is the new aquarium that is a treat for children and adults alike.  You will be sure to find the Aloha spirit alive and well in South Maui.

Access to these resorts is via Pi'ilani Highway, Hwy. 31, by way of Mokulele Highway, Hwy. 350 (which links Kahului to Kihei).  It is about a 35-45 minute drive from the Kahului Airport past the sugar cane and pineapple fields.
